Vice Dean Cao Long Attends the Second Lead Author Meeting of the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report

Professor Cao Long attended the second Lead Author Meeting (LAM2) of the IPCC Working Group I Sixth Assessment Report in Vancouver, Canada.The IPCC was set up in 1988 by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) to provide policymakers with regular assessments of the scientific basis of climate change, its impacts and future risks, and options for adaptation and mitigation. The IPCC is currently in its Sixth Assessment cycle. The Working Group I contribution to the Sixth Assessment Report will be finalized in 2021.
