AINSE Gold Medal awarded to Associate Professor Lydia Mackenzie

Former Australian Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering (AINSE) Post Graduate Research Scholar A/Prof. Mackenzie was awarded the AINSE Gold Medal for excellence in research on the 22nd of May 2019. The Gold Medal is awarded based on the past 5 years of publications which acknowledge AINSE support. Michele Durant, the Managing Director of AINSE, also noted A/Prof. Mackenzie’s support of students during her work with AINSE: “Not only has Lydia excelled in her own research, she has also given freely of her time to mentor other students in AINSE programs.”
